Driver of SUV that crashed into Sydney hijab shop charged with range of offences

The driver of a car that slammed into a shop in Sydney's south west on Thursday, injuring 14 people, has been charged with a range of offences.Authorities re-arrested the man and he was charged on Friday nightPolice say the Mitsubishi SUV collided with a stopped vehicle at an intersection in Greenacre on Thursday afternoon beforeTen were taken to Liverpool, Bankstown, and Canterbury hospitals in stable conditions.

The driver, a 51-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Liverpool Hospital under police guard for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
