There are grave fears for the driver of a car that crashed off a bridge and into a river in Queensland ’s southwest. Emergency services were called to a report a car had crashed off Bell’s Bridge on Running Creek Rd, Running Creek, about 9am on Tuesday morning. The car was found upside down in a river below the bridge, with paramedics assessing the driver as being in a critical condition . Queensland Police told 7NEWS.com.
au officers had attended a serious single vehicle crash and a Forensic Crash Unit had been sent out to the incident. Traffic diversions are in place and the bridge is expected to be shut for some time. No other occupants are believed to have been in the vehicle at the time of the crash. More to come..
