Two injured after vicious dog attack in Sydney | Sky News AustraliaA young girl and her neighbour have been taken to hospital after a dog attack in Sydney's west. \n\nThe Staffordshire terrier mix attacked the six-year-old girl outside a Villawood home on Saturday morning, before biting a neighbor who rushed in to help. \n\nThe girl has being treated in hospital for minor lacerations to her legs, and the man was also taken to hospital with an arm wound.\n\nThe dog has been collected by council rangers and will be put down. \n\n Why aren't the owners of vicious dogs put in Jail? Why aren't vicious breeds banned in Australia? What is wrong with having a Chihuahua as a pet instead of a mongrel German Shepherd? The dogs most often involved in attacks in Australia have been reported to be the staffordshire bull terrier, Australian cattle dog, german shepherd, rottweiler and the labrador retriever. Shame anyone who has one of these breeds. The are losers.

Prime minister “hypocritical” for not passing on interest rate cuts | Sky News AustraliaShadow Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the “frustration” that the Australian community has is “understandable” after the big four banks failed to pass on interest rate cuts to customers in full.\n\nThe RBA cut the cash rate by 25 basis points to 0.75 per cent on Tuesday - the first time Australia has seen interest rates fall below 1 per cent.\n\nMr Chalmers told Sky News “The behaviour of the banks in this instance has been indefensible” and that the prime minister is “hypocritical” for not passing on the interest rate cuts through the deeming system to Australian pensioners. \n\n“The Reserve bank has made it really clear that the banks are still incredibly profitable by international standards,” he said. \n\nImage: News Corp Australia How about the Government reducing indirect taxes - like the GST, sin taxes (alcohol, cigarettes), stamp duty - oh and maybe caring for citizens by paying a living allowance to those who are not in paid employmentxx the big four banks dont have to do any thing like ya self you have to listen to the people your not I watched this interview. Aussie bloggers released from Iran possible swap deal | Sky News AustraliaThe release of two Australian bloggers from an Iranian jail appears to have come as part of a swap deal.\n\nOn the same day Jolie King and Mark Firkin were set free, an extradition request for an Iranian student to be sent from Brisbane to the United States was denied.\n\nInstead, Dehbashi Kivi will be sent back to Iran.\n\nAttorney-General Christian Porter has refused to confirm the details but released a statement about the case.\n\nMr Porter says, 'While it is likely that because of Mr Kivi's nationality some will speculate regarding this matter... consistent with prior practice, I do not intend to comment further on the particular details of this case.'\n\n'Particularly when any such response from me may diminish our Government's capacity to deal with future matters of this type in Australia's best interests,' he said. So, they have at least one verified review in their list of 'countries that get a bad rap' And the other woman ? I still don't understand why anyone would go to one of these countries voluntarily.
