Scott Morrison has led a swift and strong repudiation of Queensland Senator Fraser Anning, who linked Muslim immigration to the terror attack carried out in New Zealand | latikambourke

The Prime Minister tweeted late on Friday night that Senator Anning's comments had no place in Australia and definitely not the parliament."The remarks by Senator Fraser Anning blaming the murderous attacks by a violent, right-wing, extremist terrorist in New Zealand on immigration are disgusting," Mr Morrison said, just hours after addressing the media about the massacre which appears to have been carried out by Australian born Brenton Tarrant.

"The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place." Mr Anning gained just 19 votes at the ballot box in the 2016 federal election but was elected to parliament to replace One Nation's Malcolm Roberts after he was knocked out for breaching the constitution.

latikambourke When you are part of the problem, how can you be part of the solution? These three reprobates have propagated the seeds of ‘no more neutrality in the world.’

latikambourke You speak now you did not then Are you fit to be elected Prime Minister?

latikambourke Am I mistaken? Didn't Abbott, Dutton and Morrison start doing this years ago before this horrific event? Weren't they warned for years about the dangers of vilifying others?

latikambourke What a day Scomo had! He launches anti-bullying saying he wants kids 2 be able to talk issues, deplores 1,000's of kids having their say on climate change. An Aussie commits terror in NZ, Anning bullies the Muslim community with sentiment Scomo believes. canwehaveJacintaplease

latikambourke 'What has he said previously to help him politically? 'Use community concerns about Muslims', that was ScottMorrisonMP 8 years ago 'We made a mistake with immigrants from Lebanon' PeterDutton_MP & let us not forget the white nationalist Anning in the senate, a despicable POS.

latikambourke He has about as much credibility as a dead cane toad

latikambourke Islam is biggest religion of peace and teaches us about peace. but unfortunately after 9/11 it was the planed program of anti Muslim minds to display the Muslims as terrorist, so they started terrorism in Muslim countries like afg, Iraq, yaman etc. And blamed Muslim as terrorst

bencubby latikambourke Except he’s only doing the bare minimum.

Not going to applaud the guy for doing the bare minimum

latikambourke All are virtue signalling over Anning's comments. Obviously the attack wouldn't have taken place if there were no mosques or Muslims in NZ. The 'but for' argument reverberates here strongly. Killing innocents is wrong whatever their creed but this virtue caterwauling is overboard

latikambourke Yes after I sent him this tweet

latikambourke . Normally, by now, feminists would be reminding us how many more women die from domestic violence than by terrorism. I bet that won’t happen this time.

latikambourke He is still in parliament , not enough done, GG needs to sack him!

'Disgusting': Morrison slams Senator's comments on Christchurch massacreScott Morrison has led a swift and strong repudiation of Queensland Senator Fraser Anning, who linked Muslim immigration to the terror attack carried out at two mosques in New Zealand by suspected far-right extremists. This is from smh/the age archive. Feel free to reference your own company's archived stories. The Age told us who Morrison really is in 2011. There's no point pretending Morrison is empathetic to Muslims when he clearly isn't, according to Fairfax's own archives. That's deceit Agree or disagree he has a right to an opinion, hasn't he. Should a senator that promotes hatred be subject to AFP attention and be made to answer via our judicial processes? auspol AusVotes2019

Joyce slams McCormack's comments on marriage a 'faux pas' | Sky News AustraliaBarnaby Joyce has told Sky News political editor David Speers he hopes Nationals Leader Michael McCormack’s comments pertaining to marriage were a ‘faux pas’ and not a veiled swipe at his failed relationship. \n\nMr McCormack said he knows how to run the National Party, as part of the Liberal National Coalition, because he knows how to run a ‘successful marriage’. \n\nMr Mccormack’s comments followed Mr Joyce's revelation that he would feel ‘no guilt’ taking over the leadership of the Nationals because he is the ‘elected deputy leader’. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n All things considered Barnaby is onto something. But can he take the majority of Nationals with him? McCormack is disrespected by his colleagues and an electoral liability with voters. I think it is more like he is listening to the people that he represents and airing their views ,but you will still push your bias reporting for your labor party .

Australian Islamic leaders urge Muslims to be 'extra vigilant' after Christchurch attackIslamic leaders condemn the shooting attack on worshippers at two mosques in Christchurch as an act of terror inspired by Islamophobia. Muslim Australians I am sorry and ashamed that such destruction has been brought upon your practioners by a citizen of my country. This is not who we are. It’s just awful that anyone should need to do this. So there’s heightened security at both Muslim and Jewish places Of worship after months and years of increased antsemitism and Islamophibia. Our leaders need to stop perpetuating fear of “others”. It only leads to fear and violence. This has to stop

Australian man arrested, 40 dead in Christchurch mosque terror attackBreaking 40 people are believed to have lost their lives in the Christchurch terror attacks, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern confirms. Also dropped a 'we will protect you' into the media conference pretty much as expected! Will be working on how to turn this into a political scaremongering to try and save seats! 🤬🤬🤬 So, an Australian is in custody over the tragic mosque shooting. This is the result of constant racial/religious dog whistling. It's on the heads of any person in public life who has perpetuated this most disgusting of political strategies. This is the consequence of the Islamophobic and racist hate that has been normalised and legitimised by some politicians and media.
