The co-hosts of The View have made a televised apology to Princess Catherine for mocking her recent disappearance from public life after Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis.

The hosts of the popular daytime program The View have become the latest stars to issue an apology to Princess Catherine for making jokes about the royal’s wellbeing in light of Kate’s cancer diagnosis.

Hosts Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin made numerous jokes about Kate’s disappearance from public life in recent episodes, including lampooning the controversial “edited” Mother’s Day photo of the Princess with her children.#TheView“I feel awful – I got into the fun of ‘where is Kate” thinking it’s funny and I forgot something fundamental: every person is dealing with personal struggles that we don’t know about,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said.

Goldberg, 68, repeatedly declined to engage in talks about the Princess on air and said she was concerned that Catherine’s three children were “hearing” the cruel conspiracies. “Because once those things begin to happen, everyone jumps on board and there’s no way to stop it,” she said.
