Disgraced former MP Daryl Maguire tells a corruption inquiry after a few drinks he facilitated a 'two-minute' meeting between a property developer and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian while they were in a secret relationship.

Disgraced former MP Daryl Maguire has admitted he facilitated a "drop-in" meeting between his property developer friend and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian in 2017.Daryl Maguire told ICAC he organised the 'pop in' as a favour to property developer Joseph AlhaThis is Mr Maguire's second day of giving evidence to the corruption watchdog

The Independent Commission Against Corruption yesterday was played a tapped phone call between the former Wagga Wagga MP and Sydney developer Joseph Alha. Mr Maguire said it was "convenient" to facilitate the "drop-in" meeting during a Parliamentary sitting week."Yes, we'd had a couple of drinks. "Joe was insistent on saying hello and so down we went and I asked can we pop in — it would have taken less than two minutes and then we left."I don't even think a photo was taken which is what you'd normally do in a drop-in and that was it, we were gone."Counsel Assisting Scott Robertson asked Mr Maguire why he was assisting a developer to also facilitate meetings with the Planning Minister's staff for a proposed development in Campsie, in Sydney's west.

It it smells like a crook, sounds like a crook and looks like a crook......it's a damn crook!! Where do these greedy bastard's get off?

1. Do we thing McGuire should retain his $80,000 per year of tax payers money or should he be subject to an assets test and given whatever pension rate is applicable? 2. Do the current post politic remunerations, and conditions for those, need to be reviewed?
