jeff_kennett The guy who put all of us in this position is seen as our leader. He should step down and let someone with ability take charge. Maybe Sutton or Mikakos. What a joke of a political party.

jeff_kennett funny the star actor of sky news Pauline Hanson has not said anything about daniel Andrews..lol.

jeff_kennett This protest will call for DanielAndrewsMP to resign. ResignDanielAndrews FakePandemic

jeff_kennett It’s good to see Sky calling in an expert on Meglimania. Jeff Kennett is certainly the most qualified megalomaniac in Victoria...

jeff_kennett Wont happen. Has to be passed in. He won’t get it.

jeff_kennett Why does persist in politicising the pandemic and encouraging citizens to resist good public heath procedures which are clearly working. skynews is putting their own political agenda ahead of the lives and livelihoods of the community.

jeff_kennett What else has dictator Daniel Andrews have in plan for the people of Victoria, if he is a dictator, then this is only the beginning !

jeff_kennett And don't forget the QLD and wa premiers that are Nazis too

Andrews turning neighbours against each other is the ‘hallmark of totalitarianism’ | Sky News AustraliaThe Victorian government misleading the public on the number of people disobeying stay-at-home orders is a clever, but “cynical and underhanded” strategy by Premier Daniel Andrews to turn people against each other, says Sky News host Rita Panahi.\n\nThe impetus for Victoria’s harsh lockdown and curfew on Wednesday was revealed as untrue, as Victoria Police said only 42 Victorians, not hundreds, had received fines for breaching COVID isolation laws.\n\nVictorian Police Deputy Commissioner Rick Nugent revealed only 42 Victorians have received fines for failing to isolate in Victoria since the beginning of the pandemic.\n\nThe Victorian premier, on July 22 and July 30, stated hundreds of Victorians were refusing to isolate despite having COVID-19.\n\nWhen the premier introduced the harsh new lockdown measures in Victoria on August two, he said the impetus for the new laws was “too many (Victorians) not taking this seriously”.\n\nMs Panahi said it was extremely clever to “turn people against each other” as it meant people were blaming their neighbours rather than focusing on the government programs which led to the state’s COVID-19 debacle.\n\nFellow Sky News host James Morrow said this fell under the idea that people serve the government rather than the other way around.\n\n“Governments around this country, they’ve forgotten that they are there to serve us to make our lives better, to make our economy as strong as possible,” he said.\n\n“Isn’t this the hallmark of totalitarianism when you start turning neighbours against each other,” Sky News host Rowan Dean said.\n\nImage: Getty DanielAndrewsMP RitaPanahi RitaPanahi Rita who? China's Thousand Talents Plan 'stealing' leading Aussie scientists | Sky News AustraliaThe Australian Strategic Policy Institute's Michael Shoebridge spoke with Sky News about China’s so called ‘Thousand Talents Plan’ which he claimed targeted universities in a bid to increase the influence wielded by the communist party over research hubs.\n\nThe Australian investigated China’s Thousand Talents Plan and described it as an initiative which seeks to recruit “leading Australian scientists for a secretive research program that offers lucrative salaries and perks but requires their inventions to be patented in China and obliges them to abide by Chinese law”.\n\nMr Shoebridge said similar situations were playing out in Australia and the United State where there was “one case where someone was receiving $50,000 dollars a month to work with the Chinese and not disclose it”.\n\n“The pattern of behaviour around this talent recruitment, and participants … not coming clean with their home universities is pretty clear”. \n\nThose who refuse to be transparent about their connections to the scheme should be penalised, he said.\n\nMr Shoebridge suggested a motivation for the Chinese government could be to siphon information concerning coronavirus vaccine research in order to develop a cure.\n\n“Having inflicted the pandemic upon the world, the Chinese government needs to rehabilitate its reputation and there’s no better way to do that than show they’ve succeeded with the vaccine”.\n\n“Stealing the best research from the University of Queensland or small start-ups in South Australia is exactly what they would want to do”.\n michael_ASPI Isn’t it called the free market when people accept the highest paid employment opportunity? michael_ASPI The aust govt refused to pay them but the chinese do well f$%k the aust govt. michael_ASPI UQ encouraged their researchers to apply for grants from China to collaborate on Covid 19 data.
