NSW Police and Emergency Services Minister David Elliott is taking a proposal to cabinet to implement all 76 recommendations of Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s inquiry into bushfires, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“And a lot of them centre around hazard reduction,” Mr Clennell said. “There will be, if these are implemented, more strategic hazard reduction.” Mr Clennell said there will probably be an announcement on Tuesday. The report found that the majority of the fires were caused by lightning and drought, allowing fuel loads to build up.
