The headmaster of The King's School has accused the NSW government of creating inconsistent, confusing COVID-19 sport rules that “make no sense” and advantage public schools over private ones | JordsBaker

The headmaster of The King's School has accused the NSW government of creating inconsistent, confusing COVID-19 sport rules that “make no sense” and advantage public schools over private ones.

King's headmaster Tony George said NSW Sport and NSW Education had chosen to implement state health guidelines differently, leading to a tighter ban on school teams than club ones. “What we have been seeking from the NSW government for the past week is consistency,” he wrote. Sydney Boys is a government school, so must adhere to the rules, while sources said Sydney Grammar - an academically high-achieving private school - is advocating caution to ensure students do not get sick before HSC exams begin.

JordsBaker 😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂😂

JordsBaker White privilege much?

JordsBaker Its about time public schools had an advantage tbh

JordsBaker Let’s pull the funding then and give them something to really complain about. Disadvantaged what a joke

JordsBaker That'll be the day, when public schools in Australia are advantaged over private ones. Don't make me laugh.

JordsBaker Well don’t play then....it’s only sport FFS

JordsBaker contact sports should be abandoned and only sports like golf, swimming, kayaking etc that are individual and non contact should prevail in the pandemic. Schools are petri dishes of infection and need to be treated as such.

JordsBaker Advantage? Advantage! Sorry Headmaster, this is a bit like the kettle calling the pot black.

JordsBaker Well, doesn't that statement just take the cake? My heart bleeds for the poor, hard done by pupils of The King's School. How will they cope? Someone call in the councillors immediately. 😫😫😫

JordsBaker The jealousy highlighted by adults in some of these comments is as pathetic as them. Bunch of low achievers with chips on their shoulders and just can’t stand the fact that there are kids who go to private schools. To the negative noddies you are nothing but bullies!

JordsBaker That one time where public schools were given an advantage. Oh, the inequity.

JordsBaker As usual Gladys wants children to fix her own fuck up for not closing the border with Vic sooner.

JordsBaker Let the kids play! ShoreSchool

JordsBaker Yeah.......right....

JordsBaker 😢

JordsBaker They say they educate leaders..such a good example of whinging and undermining health advise.

JordsBaker Perhaps The Kings School “headmaster” should focus on such matters as ensuring his boys do not master plagiarism.

JordsBaker My heart bleeds for the spoilt prick. And he'll probably get his way in the end, blokes like this always do.

JordsBaker What ever view you have, stopping school sport is yet another negative impact on kids that are suffering. Rich or poor, mental health is not picky!

JordsBaker Cry me a river

JordsBaker Oh look at all the Poor people replying. Good? what's good about it?

JordsBaker Shut up, Jay.

JordsBaker Poor dear it must be the first time in his life he hasn't got what he wants.

JordsBaker Wow I’m going celebrate 🎉 that something that the government is doing is favouring public schools

JordsBaker Entitled much

JordsBaker My heart bleeds...

JordsBaker 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

JordsBaker Poor poor things

JordsBaker 😂

Call to expand plan to protect health workers from contracting COVID-19Medical groups say fit testing of face masks must immediately be made mandatory for front-line health workers after state government analysis showed up to 80 per cent of Victorian healthcare staff infected with COVID-19 caught it at work. Just another governmental failure..one of many.😞😞😷 I assume WorkSafe are involved then as according to their website it’s an ‘employers obligation to ensure staff wear appropriate masks’ and ‘are provided guidance on how to wear and maintain them properly’? The flu vaccine is mandatory for Victorian health care workers since May 2020. Studies have shown that the flu shot increases the chance of getting coronavirus.
