Sky News host Caroline Di Russo says Fawlty Towers is a “look into the 1970s” and showrunners looking to remake the show should find something else to be “funny” about.

Sky News host Caroline Di Russo says Faulty Towers is a “look into the 1970s” and showrunners looking to remake the show should find something else to be “funny” about.

“I kind of like Fawlty Towers as it is, it’s kind of this nice little enclosed bubble, a look into the 1970s – I really quite like it as it is,” Ms Di Russo told commentator Steve Price. “It’s like saying someone would remake Blackadder, just don’t touch it, it’s perfect, leave it as it is, go and find something else new to be funny about.”

Is anything allowed to be funny these days?

Neither should we be fixated on 60s 70s 90s music but we are because her generation has failed on every level to either produce equal or better We should not be attending the concerts of 70+ year olds Or indeed discussing what Madonna looks like They should be history !

I bet Caroline finds Fawlty Towers offensive!!

'The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth ... ' I think that about covers things that are 'hugely embarrassing', don't you? Of course she'd say that lol Well let’s be honest. Covid taught us that all Australian media are liars and spreaders of misinformation. You all lied about vaccines being safe and approved and they’d stop the spread. Never mentioned only provisional approval as studies into safety weren’t complete.

Reserve Bank’s ‘language’ in media statement was ‘stronger’ than anticipatedKPMG Chief Economist Brendan Rynne says the Reserve Bank’s “language” in today’s media statement was “much stronger” than anticipated. “The language that was in today’s media statement was much, much stronger than what I thought it was going to be,” Mr Rynne told Sky News Commentator Steve Price. “Quite clearly the Reserve Bank was very concerned about the level of inflation that materialised in the last quarter of last year, running at nearly eight per cent. “It’s very much wanting to try to clamp that down and bring inflation back to its target band.” In short, the RBA's policies are aligned for the greedy corporate elite and private banks who have benefitted themselves at enormous cost to the Australian people and to the economic and social stability of the Australian Commonwealth.

Jacinta Price’s private member’s bill aims to ‘protect Territorians’CLP Senator Jacinta Price says the purpose of her private member's bill is to “protect Territorians”. “It will reinstate the alcohol restrictions that previously existed throughout remote communities and also the town camps,” she told Sky News commentator Steve Price. “And then it provides those communities who want to have alcohol in their communities to opt out of that but the process around that involves the development of an alcohol management plan.” VoteNo A common sense approach. There are children that rely on their families for food, clothing, housing and health. I am hoping that the money promised by the Federal government can aid better services to enable an escape from some of the issues being raised.

'Because they have made sure that whatever happens with the Royals, the spotlight is on them as well,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “So, I kind of understand the stance that the King is taking, but the reality is, the coronation is still a public affair, still a public event - I think many Britons are getting quite sick of this saga. “I don’t think we want to carry on this Kardashian-style, ridiculous affair and carry it onto the coronation.”
