Mitchell Moses,Fox League,North Queensland Cowboys

Winning without Mitchell Moses had proven to be the Parramatta Eels’ kryptonite in recent times but the side has claimed the massive scalp of the North Queensland Cowboys in a 27-20 win at Commbank Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It wasn’t pretty but the Parramatta Eels have returned to the winner’s circle, although not before a heart attack play for coach Brad Arthur .

It wasn't all Parramatta’s way however as they took a 14-10 lead at halftime despite a deplorable completion rate of 10 from 16 and only 40 per cent of possession in the first stanza. It was a much needed win for the Eels. While it wouldn’t have been decisive, it would have got the Eels a long way towards where they wanted to go.At the time, Michael Ennis praised the awareness of Lussick to stay alive.

While it was a coach-killer of a moment, it didn’t stop the Eels from claiming the win, although it did give their fans a heart attack.
