Sky News host Peta Credlin says instead of showing humility one would expect from a country which was the source of 'all this loss of life,' China is 'posing as the world's saviour' while making threats against anyone demanding transparency.

Sky News host Peta Credlin says instead of showing humility one would expect from a country which was the source of "all this loss of life," China is "posing as the world's saviour" while making threats against anyone demanding transparency. "If there's one thing that the corona crisis has exposed, it's just how complicated and how difficult our relation with China really is," Ms Credlin said.

"But from 2015, all that started to change, China started to militarise the South China Sea and stepped up bullying its neighbours," she said. Then the coronavirus crisis occurred which featured Chinese doctors "arrested for spreading 'false rumours," China being too slow to admit human-to-human transmission, and the "China-dominated World Health Organisation kept congratulating China for its transparency".

they can’t allow a independent inquiry because this would prove that they have done this with intent! And there is evidence that it was lab created!they have waited this long they can’t do Inquirys and just apologise and bolster security measures, stop spreading yearly flu viruses

Their attitude stinks

The world made China do it. If the world were more subservient to China, China would not have to do it. What do you expect from a China that is showing the world that China has limited awarness of themselves and a psychological cognition of an insect?

Great piece. Stephen Sackur on BBC's Hardtalk programme got a similiar treatment.

they want power and rule the world not hard to see with there militery build up. and the dumb world is still saying they are a developing country, what a laugh.

Adolf Hitler all over again...the CCP...😡

😡

The China Virus made in China is not a good look 👀

Why can't India or another Asian country or even America be our Savior? Why does China want the Australian people to shut up? What are they hiding? Come out where you are? People want answers...

Normal Bullying 🇨🇳

China and the CCP are as transparent as a block of concrete.

Whole world should boycott China... then see what happens

Posing and making threats is all the CCP has left. ChinaLiedAndPeopleDied this ChinaVirus is 100% the responsibility of Chinese authorities that lied, covered up, and in every way possible tried to hide their culpability, and the WHO helped them! BoycottChina disbandtheWHO

I'm despaired to see so many regular people on twitter, who share the freedom and democracy we all enjoy, whose comments seemingly sympathise with the CCP. I'm not sure if some are simply more susceptible to misinformation, or whether some secretly prefer authoritarianism.

China has no hand in the Wuhan virus, why is it that China does not allow the opposition to investigate, it is clear from this that the Communist Party of China has spread the Wuhan virus across the world, which is true in front of the world

Humility?! What right does she or anyone who’s connected to her have? I don’t recall anyone demanding the same every time death is exported from the USA or our shores!

'The United States is the country of origin for most of the coronavirus cases in Australia, the prime minister has said.'

The war drums continue to beat around the world.🙄

I’d be astounded if Credlin can even spell humility. She never displays a scrap of it, so I’ll pass when it comes to who she reckons ought to

Love peta credlin, always on point. Spot on 👌🏻

China turning its dispute with Australia into a 'China versus US issue' | Sky News AustraliaThe Chinese Communist government is trying to make its dispute with Australia a 'China versus US issue,' but it has nothing to do with President Donald Trump, it is about the 'origins of a virus that is creating havoc' says Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\nIn recent weeks China - primarily through its Ambassador to Australia Jingye Cheng - has 'bristled' at Australia's call for an independent global investigation into the origins of the virus.\n\nThe Ambassador first threatened a potential consumer boycott on Australian exports, and then on Tuesday leaked a private conversation with Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Frances Adamson.\n\n'You'd think China would welcome it but instead they take it as a slight, and worse they bully Australia through their ambassador,' he said.\n\nMr Kenny said the issue of an international investigation should be about 'shared global vulnerability and therefore global co-operation'.\n\n'It's time we heard from many more countries on this, supporting Australia's logical position, and putting pressure on Beijing'.\n\nResources Minister Keith Pitt told Mr Kenny what is important is 'ensuring what's happening right around the world right now never ever again'.\n\nImage: AP It is Morrison and Dutton want the focus from Aussie paedo churches to be shifted away. Would we be happy if China called for a global investigation into Australia.

China shows 'the gloves are off' by leaking private conversations | Sky News AustraliaCommunist China leaking sensitive conversations of senior Australian public servants demonstrates it is 'not interested in returning to the status quo' with Australia says former Labor minister Stephen Conroy.\n\nMr Conroy told Sky News host Peta Credlin the Chinese government on Tuesday leaked 'some edited comments' from a phone call with the Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Frances Adamson.\n\n'That leaking to their own advantage of a private conversation demonstrates they're not interested in returning to the status quo'.\n\nHe said the Chinese communist government 'want to bend Australia to its will'.\n Well, we can also take the ice hockey approach with China. Drop the gloves, grab them by the jersey, pull it over their heads and then punch the living shit out of them. Simple that status quo was Australia selling 1/3 of its exports to Australia. It is ludicrous for silly right-wing politicians to antagonise China for no result. We face an enormous recession. Do we wan to lose our best customer? Stuff them. China. We have fought wars to keep our sovereign status & lost millions of lives protecting our rights. So will we give in to the communists now. Nope. Bring it on if required. We will do it again if necessary. Protecting our sovereignty. China be ware.
