Communist China leaking sensitive conversations of senior Australian public servants demonstrates it is 'not interested in returning to the status quo' with Australia says former Labor minister Stephen Conroy.

Communist China leaking sensitive conversations of senior Australian public servants demonstrates it is "not interested in returning to the status quo" with Australia says former Labor minister Stephen Conroy.

Mr Conroy told Sky News host Peta Credlin the Chinese government on Tuesday leaked "some edited comments" from a phone call with the Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Frances Adamson. "That leaking to their own advantage of a private conversation demonstrates they're not interested in returning to the status quo". He said the Chinese communist government "want to bend Australia to its will".

Good.

All empires fall.

China doesn’t have to bend Australia to it’s will. It’s playing a waiting game as seen in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South China Sea. If it takes 20 years or 50 years they will keep extending their influence while out waiting every other country.

CHINA 🇨🇳 NEEDS TO GET BACK IN YOUR BOX COME OUT WHEN AUSTRALIA CALLS YOU

Haha that's why he is now former minister

Send ambassador to Lambing Flats. We won’t be dictated to or have our country controlled by China. China be ware.

Message for the Evil Communist china dictatorship from ALL Australians

After this wuhan virus mess, there can not be a return to the status quo! The CCP deliberately used the global airline transport system (which they are invested heavily in) to infect the rest of the world with COVID. No foreign nationals can be allowed to enter Aus unless tested!

Piss the off ! No more ore, cooking coal ,gold, silver, lithium, food, milk powder lets see who has the balls ! CMON AUSSIE give them shit !!!!!!

Honestly, the time is now to boycott Chinese goods regardless of the pain. Covid19 was a bad cold compared to what will come out of that god forsaken place within 5 years. Fuck them.

China is going to surpass the US in a few years. Already has surpassed them in GDP (PPP). And they're looking to 2050. Meanwhile Trump and the Australian muppets who read Sky News are drinking disinfectant and yearning for 1950. Keep up boys.

BeeSting Stephen. WHO? Why would we be interested in any comment? From the Labor minister that gave us an unfunded NBN just a cluster the whole proposal. another Labor thought bubble unfunded just like the NDIS. never stops with Labor just bubbles no proper business cases.

I'm guessing this is the definition of all your eggs in one basket?

lol

Enemy of humanity and cruel China which has spreaded deadly disease like COVID 19 should be boycotted by countries which have affected severely in this disease.

He has been dead for a long time. Thank you

Stuff them. China. We have fought wars to keep our sovereign status & lost millions of lives protecting our rights. So will we give in to the communists now. Nope. Bring it on if required. We will do it again if necessary. Protecting our sovereignty. China be ware.

that status quo was Australia selling 1/3 of its exports to Australia. It is ludicrous for silly right-wing politicians to antagonise China for no result. We face an enormous recession. Do we wan to lose our best customer?

Well, we can also take the ice hockey approach with China. Drop the gloves, grab them by the jersey, pull it over their heads and then punch the living shit out of them. Simple
