China denies it is behind the increased cyber attacks on public and private entities in Australia, while experts claim the code was recycled from a 2019 attack.

China has denied it is behind cyber attacks on Australian business and government organisations, saying such suggests are"baseless".

"We know it is a sophisticated, state-based cyber actor because of the scale and nature of the targeting, and the tradecraft used," Mr Morrison said. "The attacks coming from institute against China are totally baseless nonsense," Zhao told reporters at a daily briefing. Sean Duca, a cyber security expert from Palo Alto Networks, said the attacks bore similarities to the February 2019 assault on the Parliament House system, also blamed on China.

It’s difficult to know whether to believe Scotty or Xi isn’t it.

CCPChina orchestrated a coordinated cyber attack on both India and Australia PM was courageous enough to go public with the information in spite of the arm twisting, bullying and blackmailing nature of communist China

As sombody who is old, very old, I cannot recall a time when all countries, including ours, and corporations, were not seeking out the secrets of others so as to gain a political or financial advantage. Pretty childish really! But normal! We supposedly bugged Timor over oil?

If China: false. One possible scenario is the cyber attack was intentionally staged to appear it originated in China. Perhaps the use of older code could signify a deception. That the PM rushed out to tell us of a new crisis, also from the Northern hemisphere is suspicious too.

Because the CCP are so believable Xinocchio

Judging from the trolls, the US plays a role as well...

China is a curse to this world

There's no attack ....Murdoch is just spreading political propaganda.

WT...where are these nonsense 😂 coming from when Scott Morrison ScottMorrisonMP haven't even said the attacks are from China....

China 'striking out' at India to cover COVID-19 'anxiety' | Sky News AustraliaRising border tensions between India and China are linked with the threat of the coronavirus pandemic on China’s home front, according to ASPI Director Michael Shoebridge. \n\nIndia claimed on Tuesday that 20 soldiers were killed by Chinese forces in border clashes which happened after several weeks of stand offs in the western Himalayas. \n\nMr Shoebridge told Sky News the Chinese government feared their authority would be discredited by their handling of the pandemic as Beijing faced a potential second wave of the virus. \n\n“They also are aware that the pandemic has deeply damaged their credibility internationally,” he said. \n\n“When the Chinese communist party feels weakened and threatened it traditionally strikes out, it gets confrontational.\n\n“I think it’s trying to display strength and I think some commentators have played into that by saying Beijing is taking advantage of the pandemic as an opportunity.\n\n“Well I think Beijing sees it more as a real weakness and a source of anxiety and this aggression is to cover that.” \n\nImage: AP I don't see what burning the Chinese flag accomplishes. 'Unavoidable' finger-pointing at China over cyberattack | Sky News AustraliaUS Studies Centre Research Fellow Brendan Noone says the cyberattack on Australia – revealed by the Prime Minister today – has occurred at such a time as to direct all blame toward China. \n\nScott Morrison announced that all levels of the Australian government and private sector were targeted in the mass-scale cyberattack by a state-based actor with “very significant capabilities”. \n\nMr Noone told Sky News there were only a few actors in the international community with the capabilities to carry out such a broad attack. \n\n“We all know this is coming at a time when Australia is being coerced to use some of the government’s own language by China across economic levels,” he said. \n\n“You have to place it, I guess, in its context and it can’t be helped that this is seen possibly as part of a widespread campaign conducted against Australia, along with a bunch of other levers that China may be pulling as well.' \n\nImage: AP Of course it was them starting with C ending with A CIA Openly accusing or just playing words?
