A number of inquiries have been sparked by allegations a former Liberal staffer was raped by her colleague inside a Minister's office in Parliament House. Here's what we know about each of them and what they'll be looking into.

The second inquiry will look specifically at what support is available to political staffers and what processes are in place for dealing with complaints.

"The individual, in this case Brittany, would be able to fully understand and be supported, completely outside that office, or any other office, for that matter," he said last week.Inquiry 3 This one may take a little longer to get going, because all parties need to agree to the terms of reference of the inquiry, as well as who they want to ultimately lead it.

Straight to the police is always the answer. One man seems to be the problem .

This is really the least surprising scandal ever It was only months ago when women were complaining about Tudge and Porter The response was to complain about 4corners and give the men a promotion

If its internal the grubs will cover it up no one will be held accountable the usual roll with the LNP with all their rorts, if he had any back bone all involved would be stood down to show the people that this is not tolerated until a inderpendant inquiry has fully investigated

It is all boose and sex fun in the ethnic Anglo oligarchy at the top on top money and perks too!

There must be more enquiries. So they can collect and destroy all evidence, and get their story straight, before the police arrive. Systemic fraud.

Definitely no workplace culture problem here.. BrittanyHiggins auspol

Might as well Ask the Mafia to investigate themselves.

You’re a mug if you trust Morrison government

Are any of these inquiries going to place men’s behaviour at the centre of the investigation - what will the men in PH be required to do differently - how will they be required to change & how will it be reviewd/monitored

StandWithBrittany

She is beautiful

A raft is a thing that you cobble together with whatever you have laying about to get yourself out of deep water in a hurry, if it holds together and you make it to shore you just leave it with the rest of the rubbish that doesn't sink.

Brittany Higgins goes to police about alleged rape at Parliament HouseFormer Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins has made a formal complaint to the Australian Federal Police about her alleged rape in 2019. This is medicine after death ! Your reason for waiting from 2019 when the incident took place until day was because of your job which means you valued your job more than your dignity? Incredible isn't it? It seems Ms Higgins spends more time speaking with the media than the police, why is this so? Good to see she is finally finished all her ABC interviews and can now do her police one. I like when people's priorities are clear.

The workplace system in Parliament House that helps feed unhealthy power relationshipsBrittany Higgins is not the first to describe a perilous workplace culture in Parliament House. It is a rather feudal system that can leave political staff — particularly women — vulnerable to bad treatment. 'bout time! Keep investigating and exposing these sub-humans. They've forgotten who they are supposed to serve. Us, the taxpayer. Yes, and it needs overhauling unhealthy power relationships? more like brutality and abuse

Hiring process at Parliament House 'hushes-up' sexism and misogyny, ex-ministerial staffers sayFormer female ministerial staffers in the Coalition government are demanding urgent changes to the way staff are hired and fired in Parliament House, arguing the current system tolerates and 'hushes-up' instances of sexism, and doesn't support the career progression of women. Labor MP punches the wall next to his female staffer’s head calling her a “f***ing c**t” when she passes on news he doesn’t like Who is this Albo? you expect the PM to know all, so who is this? No organisation that big can hush up anything. 🤦‍♂️ All the problems they identified with hiring and solutions they offered were fantastic. The privileged private school kids with connections being hired over competent applicants is definitely the problem.
