Broome-born choreographer and Bangarra dancer Tara Gower said it was a chance for the next generation to carry on Jimmy Chi's message.
"It's an urban dreaming story so in keeping this narrative alive it allows a cultural platform for young people to regain their sense of identity," Ms Gower said.
