More than 250 items and collectables belonging to former prime minister Bob Hawke are set to be sold at auction.

Members of the public have a chance to own a piece of history from Bob Hawke, Australia’s third longest-service prime minister who led the nation from 1983 to 1991.

More than 250 items and collectables belonging to Mr Hawke will be sold at auction on Tuesday night at Sydney’s Paddington RSL. Hundreds or thousands of people are expected to make bids. Mr Hawke died on 16 May this year. Image: News Corp Australia
