Mayor Mike Bloomberg has agreed to let three women out of non-disclosure agreements.

Mr Bloomberg released a statement saying “I recognise that NDAs… promote a culture of silence in the workplace and contribute to a culture of women not feeling safe or supported”.

With the race to become the Democratic presidential candidate in the balance, Mr Bloomberg’s comment responded to targeted criticism by his rivals during NBC’s democratic debate on Wednesday over his treatment of women. Image: Getty
