Perhaps one of the reasons why the ABC’s Q and A ratings have plummeted is because what it considers to be big issues are in fact “of little or no relevance to most Australians,” says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

'Big issues' for the ABC are in fact of 'little or no relevance' to most Australians “Q and A recorded its lowest ever ratings last week,” Mr Kenny said.

“It changed its night and its timeslot, but the plunge was evident long before that; like most news programs it got a boost during the worst of the pandemic last year but it’s in a tailspin just now.” According to Mr Kenny, the question now is “why the drop off”.

Spot on.

sophieelsworth Never heard of Chris Kenny and don’t watch Q and A so what a waste of time and effort this thread is and while I am at it sick to death of people using the latest fad word “woke” in tweets - get a life people.

WOOF WOOF

Want to be woke, you’re going to be broke!

Given it has 10 times more viewers than Kenny does even in its low ebb says a lot more about how relevant Kenny is to Australians...

Yep. Let me guess. whaa, whaa, climate, gender, whaa whaa aboriginals. No one gives a shit!

QandA has always resembled a lefty convention.

Like the big issue of Kombucha KKeneally had last week.

Well if given the choice I would rather watch ABC than Sky News. At least you may get some truth on occasions rather than BS propaganda at Sky.

Too many right-wing nutters on the show, the same reason skynewsaust is struggling

I’m a bit surprised seeing Bridget Mackenzie was on this week spilling her untruths thought that would be your thing you no right up your alley

Go woke Go broke. Oh that’s right the government will keep them afloat. Q & A irrelevant

And how many people watch Chris Kenny again?

haha Chris talking about ratings

You are actually got one right.

Chris Kenny would understand ‘no relevance’

RUBBISH. How is the treatment of women in society, COVID deaths in India and climate change not relevant to most Australians? Oh wait a minute, Chris Kenny is a racist, misogynistic, climate denialist Murdoch hack. Kenny's ratings have plummeted further as well auspol

sophieelsworth Hahaha! parroting about politicization/bias of content and ratings success is beyond ironic!

Almost as low as Sky News at Night’s ratings.

*Hamish Macdonald. Oops. ☺️

Well it must be so , if Kenny says it 🤮🤮🤮

It’s not the ‘issues’ it’s the host an LNPShill bit like your shit shows SoyNews 😂

Or just made up rubbish - like the whole 'Black deaths in custody' thing which more and more people are now finding out is a complete lie. The RC found that Aboriginals died in custody at the same rate as non-Aboriginals. Newer stats show they are LESS likely to die in custody.

True as. Pull 50% of WOKE Climate change cancer culture ABC budgets now.
