Dannyll Goodsell told three friends she was afraid of her partner Scott Cameron in the days before he brutally murdered her with a kitchen knife at their home, a court is told.

Ms Goodsell: "I'm broke and he will be back soon."Friend: "F*** Danni don't' let him boss you around."The next day, Ms Goodsell was travelling on a bus with another friend — wearing dark glasses and appearing nervous and anxious, court documents revealed — telling the friend she wanted to leave Cameron before he got home.The court documents showed Ms Goodsell told her friend: "See, I told you.

The prosecution said it was around that time that Cameron stabbed her multiple times with a kitchen knife while she was in bed. During an interview with police, Cameron claimed Ms Goodsell went "off her head" when he refused to go and get more drugs for her.They were worried about her after she did not return text messages.

Her mother Donna Goodsell was emotional as she read her statement, telling the court she still imagines Dannyll "will walk up to me and say 'Mum, I'm not dead'".Donna Goodsell's partner, Sonya Solomou, told the court her grandchildren would "never have their mother's embrace again".
