Baby kitten rescued after being thrown down embankment

A kitten was found tossed away in a garbage bag in inner Sydney.

About 5.30 that evening, a passerby heard the kitten crying for help, and took the animal to a nearby vet for treatment.Police were notified yesterday and have started an investigation. Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward, along with people who might have dashcam or CCTV footage in that area at that time.
