Save the Children has penned an open letter to the future prime minister to ensure the children of foreign fighters are brought to Australia.

Advocacy group Save the Children has demanded the Australian government bring children of foreign IS fighters home, in an open letter addressed to the future Prime Minister."All children who have lived under ISIS control have experienced horrific events - violence, acute deprivation and bombardment," the letter reads.

Displaced Syrian women and children at the Internally Displaced Persons camp of al-Hol in al-Hasakeh governorate in northeastern Syria."No one is defending the actions of their parents, who must face justice. But we must defend the rights of every child." "The shift in rhetoric from the leaders of both major political parties is encouraging, but words alone will not bring these children home," he said.

"I don’t know all the circumstances, I don’t know if they have family here to look after them but I don’t blame the kids for their parents’ stupidity.”following appeals from the children of Australian terrorist Khaled Sharrouf, who are being held in a refugee camp in northern Syria.

No. Apples don't fall far from the tree.

And they should be placed in a special home with skilled loving psychologists, and the mothers should be thrown in prison with no future contact with children. just like the orders placed on extreme abusive parents.

martaduss Agreed. No child can be penalised because of the actions of their parents.

Australia is no longer their home

Their mothers chase the bad boy alpha seed then rely on welfare as father/provisioner. Know women’s hypergamic natures.

Not a hope in hell

Yeah - but send them to school with YOUR kids.

PM warned that children in Syria could be 'cubs of the caliphate'The stakes are high as the Prime Minister works out what to do with children trapped in a war zone because of the actions of their parents. Are you dehumanising these children on purpose or are they just collateral damage in pursuit of clickbait? Of course they are, that is what Islamic extremists do, they brainwash their children. You have to feel sorry for the children, but i expect the children do not want compassion from infidels, they have been brainwashed to hate non Muslims. This is ridiculous. They are Australian children and should be here where they can get counselling for the horrific things they have been put through by their misguided parents.
