This Wukalina Walk crisscrosses some of the most picturesque bushland in Australia in Mt William National Park , where trekkers also enjoy the long sandy beaches around the Bay of Fires , a popular wine region. The gold medal in the"unique accommodation" category went to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, which is two hours north of Broome in Western Australia.

Food director Massimo Mele, who was born in Tasmania and grew up in Naples, was praised by the judges for his sustainability code and his collaborations with local farmers.
