Sky News host Peta Credlin says while it is understandable boat people, most of whom are economic migrants, want a better life, Australia is under “no obligation to give it to them”. Credlin

Sky News host Peta Credlin says while it is understandable boat people, most of whom are economic migrants, want a better life, Australia is under “no obligation to give it to them”. Ms Credlin said, “just like a sore that won’t heal… the medevac ramifications get worse each day these laws remain in place”. On Monday, it was reported more than 20 refugees had been flown to Australia under the controversial medevac laws even though they were approved for relocation to the United States.

An Iranian man, accused of setting an accommodation block alight on Manus Island, will also be moved to the country on mental health grounds, according to The Australian newspaper. Ms Credlin said it was critical to remember “that Labor is to blame” for this legislation and for “boat people” attempt to enter Australia. “Labor is soft on borders and will find almost any excuse to allow asylum seekers, even those proven not to be refugees, to come to Australia”.

Well Peta, maybe you could use your big mouth to encourage better foreign policy instead of supporting every unwarranted oil led war and then washing your hands of the consequences.

To be fair and humane perhaps they could stay at Sarah Hanson’s mansions forever ! or Peter Fits Simmons Julie Gillard’s, K Rudd M Turd bull and crud there or Sydney, Melbourne Universities or the ABC? You know put your money we’re your loud mouth is !

On the contrary Peta we are obliged to takes them. They paid good money to people smugglers to get them here. So Australia has a contractual obligation to let them in.

MRobertsQLD Correct

No shit

Heres a idea fix their own countries so they have a better life . its all a soros con job

Look after your own Australia!

They should apply for migration like all of us do, why not?

The way to immigrate to Australia is clearly defined. It does not include sneaking in on boats provided by people smugglers. Disregarding Australian law as a first act coming here is not the way to citizenship.

She’s Right

MRobertsQLD Most are found to be genuine

No mention of the Plane People?

Fact check

Statistically incorrect

I love the sky news Credlin comedy hour. Always a belly laugh full of vitriolic slapstick soapbox absurdity.

The Pommie has spoken!

They are full of disease. Stop the boats.

Any recent coverage of passed Bills? That's the point of the lower house right?

If they were white and blue eyed this would not be an issue.

Nobody was obliged to dismiss her drink driving charge but it happened

WeWonAhole All these migrants who come in all end up like Labor voters all dole bludgers & just want free handouts😜

Sure....

It's about time someone pointed out that Australians don't exist to provide a better life for migrants. Australians, like all people's, work for the betterment of their progeny, not someone elses

True!

How appalling that someone who was chief of staff to a PM is ignorant of our obligations under the Refugee Convention. Disgusting.

Must be a slow hate day at Sky. Can you guys pick some other impoverished poor needy humans to pick on?

Perhaps she should watch tonight's Australian Story. But then again not. She couldn't grow a heart if if one was transplanted

Hi, wonder if you could provide a link to the stat supporting the statement “most of whom are economic migrants”? 😉

Peta, stop lying! You know the facts are that boat refugees are NOT economic migrants. They come by plane!

Does she ever get bored of the same crap.

Very True

Here’s an acclaimed surgeon you would have kept out you fool!

Is this what Cretin calls RetailPolitics?

Didn't Peta(rd) have a problem once with the law here, to do with too much alcohol and dangerous driving?

Commentators at Sky News preparing for their show-time.

What about the 95k economic refugees who have arrived by plane?

Bullshit, immigration website clearly shows of 70% on Nauru are genuine refugees, economic isn't a criteria for refugee status, love how she can lie and sty news just runs it anyway 😂😂😂😂

'most of whom are economic migrants' Nope you pathological liar Peta, they are not. auspol

Approximately 75% have been found to be refugees. What a disgusting person she is. Cruella DeVille

*cough* Aboriginal peoples lived in Australia for thousands of years before Europeans arrived. They suffered greatly as a result of the arrival of the British in Australia.

It's hard being green...er PM... On one hand he wants to prove what good person Christian he is with a dash of humanity On the other he aligns himself with the likes of Trump...

“The gossip was persistent and pervasive, to the extent that one of his staunchest allies, Fierravanti-Wells, confronted him with it: the perception, she said, was that he was sleeping with her” Auspol

I think it's fair to say most people would agree that we should only be bringing families to Australia who are in genuine need of protection , and who are not a threat to our community. Love watching SKY News because you call out these idiots and never back down

Only if they come with a few millions

That’s it then . Peta has spoken

Yup.

Who listens to Credlin as many of us remember her and Abbott. What a disaster he turned out to be, even his own party booted him out.

True. We want to defend the Australian worker and homeland
