He did a great job and Hitler would have approved had his life not been also tragically cut short. He actually absconded to Argentina Such an excellent actor. Very sad news. I recall he was in an Australian film about 20 odd years ago. Does anyone know the name of this film? Was Jane Campuon the director. Excellent film. RIP Bruno Ganz.

Why doesn't more of Australia know about the bombing of Darwin? There are two stories those who are born and raised in Darwin hear time and time again: Cyclone Tracy and the Bombing of Darwin. But in other parts of the country, why does it seem the latter is often left to the history books? If you denigrate Australian history, it has consequences. But you won’t learn. I knew about the bombing of Darwin and I’m not Australian. Is this really a “thing”? Just like Pearl Harbour TPTB knew days before if not months of the imminent attack but needed it to happen to progress into the war. We are always just cannon fodder whether we are front line or just civilians believing our government has our best interests at heart.
