One of Huawei's top global executives has said the Federal Government got it wrong a year ago when it banned the Chinese telco giant from supplying equipment to Australia's 5G mobile network.
"Of course we are not happy with the current situation, because we always try our best to comply with the local law. We have not been told any reason why we were excluded from 5G." "It is important for the Australian Government to make the right decision based on facts. From our side we continue to be open to talk if they have any concern," Mr Ji said.A spokesman for Paul Fletcher, who succeeded Mitch Fifield as Communications Minister, said the Federal Government did not resile from its decision to block Huawei from the 5G rollout.
Mr Ji told the ABC that despite the poor relations with the Australian Government, Huawei had no plans to scale back local operations or to leave altogether.
Of course they are going to say that!
Thanks for your suggestion, now go home!
Bend over, lube up! You can trust us.
Stalin trusted Hitler, to his dismay.
Maybe but we can’t trust China
Yes...can be trusted.
Right!!! Can be trusted. Just like you can trust us when we installed firmware code in mobile phones that copied and sent your call logs and sms to a server in Shanghai without your knowledge. Oh you can trust us. We’re not with the despotic oligarchy ;)
Rather stay clear of communist ties. But thanks anyway.
Narrator: they couldn’t.
I'm so glad to hear that I'll get a message to that effect to my friends being re educated and brainwashed in the concentration camps, they'll feel so much better,
Show me a study demonstrating the long term 5+ years effect of 5g on living organisms..
Over 200 scientists from 40 countries have shown concern and evidence as to its harmful effects and presented them before the UN.... Ah Fuck that, selfies will upload a nanosecond faster
Huawei is an arm of the Chinese communist party and has always been so. You cant build major electronic infrastructure companies in China that are not controlled by the CCP. To suggest otherwise defies the logic of a dictatorship and information control.
Corporate China, like its Govt cannot be trusted, EVER....
If the Chinese people can't trust Huawei how can anybody?
“Trust me”, said the spider to the fly.
Most in the telecom industry trust Huawei. Most Australians do not trust the Chinese Communist government.
I'm Australian, I think huawei can never be trusted, and any big company controlled by Chinese also can't be trusted. I was born there. I know them and it's regime
Australia-the 51st State of USA.
they want to dominate the world They just won out in Thailand n Philipine It is dangerous to rely on 1 giant communist corp
Well he would say that. It is in his best interests.
He’s dead if he says otherwise, so I don’t really trust him on that
It is easy to say, but it is hard to do, it is better to be concerned regarding security.
Stop5g period!!!
China can disable many of its products in time of conflict, buy elsewhere.
China cannot be trusted. Period.
The govt is banning Huawei because it doesn't want the best 5G technology to overshadow the utterly dodgy NBN being forced down our throats. The LNP has caught the seriously debilitating USA paranoia on China... and pretty much everything else. We need another election.
Yes the Government sure stuffed up again re 5G .. once again just being the lapdog of the US and blindly following what the master says .. we have a pathetic lot of ministers trying to run this Country
No Huawei cannot be trusted.
I believe the world can trust Huawei & 5G but the world has better watch out for America because they are known to abuse the people's rights with technology. The USA is a 'wolf' in sheep's clothing on this issue which is extremely dangerous to World wide human rights in future!
Yeah sure, lol.
