A 15-year-old girl has died and several others remain missing after a bridge collapsed in France.

The 150-metre long bridge - which linked the towns of Mirepoix sur Tarn and Bessieres, near Toulouse - collapsed as a lorry, a car and possibly a van were crossing, according to local

authorities. Four people were rescued, including the mother of the teenager, however several others were feared missing following the collapse. The number of casualities has not yet been confirmed.
