Associate of cosmetic surgeon Lanzer charged with alleged attack on elderly man

A cosmetic surgeon who worked for the controversial social media celebrity doctor Daniel Lanzer has been suspended by the national health regulator from practising after being charged by the police over an alleged critical injury assault.

and ABC’s Four Corners, uncovered allegations of troubling practices across Lanzer’s network, including serious hygiene and safety breaches and botched procedures that have left patients in extreme pain and requiring further medical treatment. Lanzer was one of the most followed cosmetic surgeons on Instagram and Tiktok until he closed his accounts in November.Some of those posts included interactions with his associates, including one uploaded on August 10, 2021, where he jovially asks Darbyshire to name his favourite sport. “Mixed martial arts, MMA,” is the response. ” What sort of things can you do?” Lanzer asks. “Everything, you name it,” says Darbyshire. The laughs continue.

Lanzer has since rebadged the clinics to Global Skin Clinics, which offers a range of services including laser and non-surgical facelifts. Patient surgery has been botched while politicians sat back and failed to change the laws. The regulators, too often, were missing in action.
