Police unravelling troubled history of former couple involved in Logan house fireQueensland police are unravelling the troubled history of a former couple involved in a Logan house fire that left one of them dead and the other fighting for life. Domestic violence occurs against men also. Unfortunately MSM seemed to have neglected this. This case and another case in Hobart this week particularly highlight that the narrative needs to be broadened to include men. It is tragic who ever it is but what really saddens me frustrates me is that if this was turned around & the male was the perpetrator then it would be splashed over every news outlet about male abuse towards a female. It’s a female DV perpetrator and I struggle to find any news. As someone that marched to 'Criminalise Coercive Control', can we not recognise women, although far smaller in number, are capable of heinous crimes? Without being shouted down as a misogynist, can we have that conversation?
