Aryna Sabalenka has revealed her relationship with ex-Belarusian ice hockey player Konstantin Koltsov had ended before he died earlier this week. Koltsov died in an “apparent suicide”, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. The 42-year-old was widely reported as Sabalenka’s boyfriend and it was believed he was in Florida to support her at the Miami Open this week. But the two-time Australian Open champion has now shared that they had broken up.

No foul play is suspected.” The Miami Open started earlier this week but, as the No.2 seed, Sabalenka had a bye in the first round. She is due to play her good friend Paula Badosa on Friday .
