He's one of Australia's most successful – and intimidating – actors, but Hugo Weaving says he's just a dag who likes to watch MasterChef

We'd already done three of them. So I had some reservations about doing another one but not enough to make me say I don't want to do another one.

No he isn't. He's a multimillionaire who gets paid to pretend to be someone else.

I remember watching him in 1984 in a stage production of A midsummer night's dream. He played Puck. He was brilliant and my 14 year old self was transfixed. Ever since then I've watched his career as an actor flourish. He deserves the accolades.
