AAAANNND yet, No additional deaths? No additional hospital cases? Increasing unassisted recoveries? Makes the extreme cases 4 time LESS LIKELY.

Up to 60k, or roughly 70k? Make up your mind

So even less deadly than what we thought?

Illnesses aren't spread by healthy people. Asymptomatic people shouldn't be the focus of this illness anymore than they are the focus of measles or chicken pox. Mass testing healthy/asymptomatic ppl is insane and landing us with horrifically harmful policies.

Even less deadly then

Blows the whole lockdown and curfew model out the window. We have been crashing the country without knowing the true reality.

So is it 60k or 70k?

Also brings down IFR significantly - considering antibodies tests are not comprehensive.

That weak of a virus people dont even know they have it. A-symptomatic

Lol lower the percentage of fatalities even more meaning we are destroying our economy and welcoming a police state for something less harmful then the common flu. Bravo people bravo

If this is true then why the hell are we destroying the economy?

It just shows that people who are asymptomatic or have extremely mild symptoms wont come forward or present for testing, Covid will be in our communities no matter how vigalant we are. Its a part of life now.

Some pretty fluffy numbers and claims in this article. And doesnt link to the report.

I’m pretty sure I caught this late last year, from a friend from work who went on holiday in Thailand.

Victoria records 42 COVID cases, eight deathsBREAKING: Victoria has recorded 42 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday as a Melbourne cafe owner launches legal action against the city’s contentious curfew. I agree with cafe owners. They should be allowed to open and when they close, they should head down the road to the nearest hospital to donate some time treating Covid patients. Win win Fuck that cafe owner must be doing alright if she’s got the cash to sue that government and lose 😂

Coronavirus updates LIVE: Victoria records 42 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths for first time in more than two months; Australian death toll stands at 816NSW has recorded seven new coronavirus cases in the latest 24-hour reporting period. The state's daily test figure dropped to 8835, after NSW Health expressed concern yesterday that not enough people were coming forward for testing. An average of 44 people die in Victorian nursing homes every day. Has anybody seen a graph that shows incremental deaths during this period? Report hospitalisations as well. Otherwise it’s fairly useless. All these “cases” and very few actual deaths. What about focusing on the positive for e.g that 95 year old man who was isolated in hospital for 5 weeks AND SURVIVED COVID. ANd what about the fact that Aussie scientists found a cure for covid but won’t release it to the public?
