Hancock was one of the many Tory MPs who fancied himself as a future leader, but was overlooked by Sunak for a place in the cabinet.

Calls for ‘restructuring of defence’ in AustraliaA preliminary report into Australia’s strategic defence capability is due to be handed to the federal government tomorrow.
