ANALYSIS: After all those weeks, the contest ended level. Are you not entertained?

After one searing short ball, Wade theatrically stared back, so Archer ended the over by standing in place for what seemed half a minute, locked in a long contest with the batsman as to who would look away first. It was both competitive and childish, and you felt like both of them were struggling not to burst out laughing.

The crowd got right into it, cheering each ball. Archer's speeds started coming up on the big screen, 91 miles an hour, 92. A yorker nearly ran through Wade, but the batsman stood firm, playing calmly and getting behind each ball. In a supreme spell, both were exemplary. In Archer's seventh over of the spell, he was crashed through the covers for four, then hit Wade on the shoulder with a bouncer, then cranked up near 96 miles an hour next ball. The crowd boomed, even as the ball flew through fine leg.

Great series.

Take Smith out and Australia would have lost 5-0 in what was really one of the most ordinary series ever. Neither side could bat and just fell cheaply to mediocre bowling.

Wot? No result? No golden over? No golden run? Oh dear. No wonder this game will never catch on in America...

No.

Includes an artificial victory given to England by Joel Wilson

HatAlexander They are government funded, what is their bloody problem? A Catholic school in Melbourne received 200 million from Tax Payers & closed its doors.
