It's the most reckless and unintelligible decision when we didn't move out of Afghanistan 20 years ago. Can we ever asked whether for the past 20 years corrupted Afghan government and run-away military used US and the West to guard their houses and fund their lifestyles

Australia is a country with a very short history, but participated in almost all unjust wars in modern times, and basically has not suffered serious blows.Australian politicians are very ignorant, and it is impossible for them to know what's the most basic national interests are.

Chasing after the US losing their self-created wars and dealing with the fallout of the enemies and refugees they create is what Australia does, just look at Vietnam and soon we'll do the same in Iraq. The only difference is we had a human govt advocate for Vietnamese refugees.

Why. Because it was never about helping the people that needed help. Its about politics. Money. And poppy fields. Government couldn't care less for the people.

If they are not going to help themselves you tell me why should we help then

I feel 4 every1 who served It deserves a better outcome. It might look like it was futile but they held the Taliban at bay until they could at least open up 2 negotiations with US. Will they change that’s the ? but the Afghan power & army refused 2 fight 4 themselves why stay.

You did the USA's bidding yet again, nothing more and very much less. Now all the shills be saying NO!!! 20 more years. OMG these people are sick in the head, how does one actually become a war monger? Seriously! the dearth of humanity is surely not normal, well I think so anyway

I’ve hit myself in the head with a hammer for 20 years, and the doctor is now my friend and I’ve spent a lot of time and money treating it, why stop now?
