12 soldiers for every aged care facility.

Good lesson to be learned, using security services is just waist of taxpayers money. Even before dis scandal about security, Wilson security was walking around I pin pointed problem to them, they told me to ring police. So why waist taxpayers money on worthless security services

Good on Victoria for this, still not sure why they did not accept the offer for ADF personel to guard the quarantined travellers earlier. But glad to see they have changed their mind on using them now. 👍

This is about China’s intentions for Victoria. Not just about the virus.

Australia 'requires strong conservative leadership' to clean up after COVID-19 | Sky News AustraliaIt was reassuring to hear Treasurer Josh Frydenberg singing the praises of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan because Australia requires strong conservative leadership to clean up after the coronavirus, Sky News host Rowan Dean says.\n\nDuring an interview Mr Frydenberg said he looked to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and former US President Ronald Reagan for economic inspiration.\n\n“Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan were two of the greatest political leaders of the last hundred years,” Mr Dean said.\n\n“And the unavoidable reality is that for our children’s sake alone, we are going to need a Thatcher or a Reagan in this country before too long to clean up the economic mess that Scott Morrison’s idiotic national cabinet has inflicted upon this country.\n\n“The left in this country never understood it was the British and American people that demanded Thatcher and Reagan and kept voting them back in to clean up the mess, waste and profligacy of their inept predecessors.'\n JoshFrydenberg rowandean Why is this ignorant man on air? JoshFrydenberg rowandean 🤮 JoshFrydenberg rowandean I predict that the only way Australia can clean up after coronavirus is through some pretty drastic demand side economic policy. Lowering taxes and fiddling with interest rates is already a bust

There 'must' be a royal commission into Victoria's handling of the coronavirus | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Rita Panahi says when Victoria is through this catastrophe, there must be a royal commission into the state’s mishandling of the coronavirus crisis.\n\n“From the hotel quarantine fiasco to contact tracing failures to the lives destroyed by lockdown,” Ms Panahi said.\n\nThis comes as Premier Daniel Andrews is set to announce hard lockdowns for the state, where only essential services will be allowed to open.\n\n“If those restrictions are imposed expect to see many more lives and livelihoods destroyed,' she said.\n\n“And expect to see another surge in Victorians battling mental health issues as joblessness and financial pressures combine with isolation and loneliness.\n\n“From the very start of this pandemic, Victoria had the harshest lockdown in Australia, was the slowest in lifting restrictions, and then was the only state to impose a second lockdown after gross mishandling of the hotel quarantine program allowed the virus to spread during the first lockdown.\n\n“Victoria has now recorded more coronavirus cases and deaths than every other state and territory combined. \n\n“It's pretty damn clear that lockdowns are not a substitute for competent governance. \n\n“As Victorians brace for more crippling restrictions, the rest of the country is slowly returning to normal with businesses open, kids at schools, restaurants and bars full, sporting clubs back training and families enjoying get togethers.\n\n“Incompetence has consequences.”\n RitaPanahi Quarantine and Aged Care are both Morrison's responsibility, so by all means bring on a Royal Commission. RitaPanahi Yes bring on a royal commission to expose the federal liberal government yes please RitaPanahi It only gets through by releasing Hydroxychloroquine and by the arrest of the Murder and Criminal China boy DanielAndrewsMP

Republicans were 'too soft on Facebook, Google' | Sky News AustraliaRepublicans were too soft on the big tech CEOS when they appeared before Congress last week, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.\n \nThe four major tech CEOs testified before the America’s House antitrust subcommittee on Wednesday.\n \nThe topics predominantly focused on market power and data usage, however some Republicans, most notably Ohio representative Jim Jordan, accused big tech companies of censoring conservative voices.\n \nMs Panahi said most Republicans failed to scrutinise the major tech companies despite the hearings going for five-and-a-half hours.\n \n“I don’t think the Republicans went far enough, particularly when they were questioning the heads of the big tech companies,” she said.\n \n“I thought they went really soft, a lot of them are beneficiaries of donations from those very companies, and I think perhaps that comprised their principals in that situation\n \n“This is so crucial, these companies control debate and what is said in the public square online, they have virtual monopolies, their power is enormous.\n \nYou can’t go soft on this, you have to be absolutely clear in demanding they are impartial, unbiased platforms.”\n RitaPanahi Tech companies routinely censor political opinions, while they keep legal immunity as platforms. It's one of the biggest fraud's in history, the law needs to change to force them into balance or to declare themselves publishers. RitaPanahi Love you guys, Sky news! You are brave to reveal the big names to the truth and basic values. Big thumbs on you! Really exciting to see you are journalists with justice. 👍👍 RitaPanahi If you successful they come after you. No one complaint during the years they established the companies.
