The ACT has recorded 23 new cases of COVID-19, 14 of them linked to other known cases of the virus.
No new cases have been recorded out of the cluster at social housing residence Ainslie Village, where a positive case was unaccounted for yesterday. "Our multi-agency team together with our community partners have and will continue to work and communicate directly with those affected and remain on-site to provide all of those wrap-around supports and care."ACT Policing said some people had been caught travelling across the ACT-NSW border without a valid exemption. But Mr Barr today flagged a lack of compliance across the business community in Canberra, and urged people to continue to do the right thing even as restrictions eased.
You need to charge people with it registered as criminal offence if flouting rules knowingly spreading Covid in community. That will stop those who don’t want to lose jobs etc. Narcissists will do as they want so Covid won’t dissapear as takes just a few to start it up.
Alternative headline: “ACT recorded no Covid deaths but self harm, economic impact and loss of freedoms continue to rise”
Look how it spreads!
Deputy CHO was there today, photo is of the CHO.
Adjusted to population, that is like 356 cases in VIC
