The ACT has recorded no new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours and with no active patients being treated, they are now virus free.

There are no active cases in the ACT.It’s taken the jurisdiction two months to get to this point.

"Today marks the first time in seven weeks our territory has no active cases of COVID-19 and this is because of the strong work the community is doing to stop this virus," Dr Coleman said. Testing had been expanded to anyone with symptoms of coronavirus since last Friday and there have been 8500 tests carried out.Dr Coleman said people with symptoms must get tested.
