ACT chief prosecutor asks federal police to investigate Dyson Heydon | MWhitbourn

The ACT's Director of Public Prosecutions has recommended the Australian Federal Police investigate former High Court justice Dyson Heydon over allegations of sexual harassment following a damning investigation commissioned by the court.

The AFP was contacted for comment and directed questions to its local arm, ACT Policing, which said it had "received a request from the Director of Public Prosecutions ... to investigate allegations of alleged sexual harassment by former High Court Justice Dyson Heydon". A spokeswoman for the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions said no such recommendation had been made to the NSW Police.

"We know it would have been difficult to come forward. Their accounts of their experiences at the time have been believed."
