Former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has risen from the ashes of conservatism to become the poster boy for progressive issues, according to Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton. In a heated Q&A debate, Mr Turnbull made the erroneous claim that News Corp blamed all bushfires on arson. Mr Houghon said the ABC – which advocates censoring false statements – should have asked Mr Turnbull to provide evidence for his statements.

“And in that 3.4 per cent of articles, arson wasn’t blamed for sparking every single bushfire. “I agree, that would be an absurd claim, but the claim was never made.” In reality, the Australian reported official figures on how many arson cases there were during the bushfire period. “Only a fool would think that bushfires were the result of a singular cause,” Mr Houghton said.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets Good on Malcolm for confronting the Murdoch tyranny!

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets Definitely not fit LNP and Murdoch narrative press. Rrefuse to hold Liberals to account on ministerial incompetence, rorts, illegal conduct, hypocrisy, intimidation, China, and much more.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets He always was progressive but, sadly, that didn’t fit the LNP narrative.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets There are no words for Turnbull. He was never a liberal. Just a liar owned by bankers. Liberal Party have shown their colours and if they didn't know, they should have known.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets They delighted in fact checking him, at one point. Gee, I wonder what changed.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets A bit late now!!!! You were completely pathetic and a huge disappointment to a generation of people who thought you might have the guts to stand up and do the right thing.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets That's because he was fake.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets His a very bitter man........wonder how much Malcolms invested in silly climate change crap or should I say his son with dadd'ys cash......Lucky he flogged off Oziemail for top dollar I reckon.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets Go away, Turnbull.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets Gather up Malcolms ashes and put him back in a sealed box

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets LOL. He probably wishes he was a progressive poster boy, but anyone who remembers his prime ministership knows he utterly failed to stand up to the troglodytes on the Liberal right

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets TurnbullMalcolm was never a conservative or a real Liberal Leader, he was a pretender, catering to the inner city elite. Just a Cancer.

TurnbullMalcolm Houghtontweets This is just more BS propaganda from Sky. Turnbull is and remains a right wing centrist. Dragging him to to left is just a means to justify their loony right wing ideals which enable further deregulation and exploitation.

To suggest that he has no “dignity” because he attacks your employer is unfair. Sky news fan.
