The lack of transparency around former prime minister Scott Morrison secretly assuming power over a range of government portfolios is extraordinary, Sky News host Chris Kenny says.

Mr Morrison secretly swore himself into additional portfolios during the pandemic which included health, finance and resources portfolios.

“Now you might be able to make a case for this doubling up of responsibility in a crisis – it’s a big ask in my view,” Mr Kenny said.“It is always unwise to give governments unfettered power.”

There was a lack of transparency around EVERY SINGLE THING THAT HAPPENED DURING THE FAKE PANDEMIC.

Well, at least it tells me that Morrison was working hard. Something that can’t be said about junket Albo the freeloader.

Wait till a Federal ICAC gets going! The Morrison government will be remembered as the poison arrow that ended the Liberal Party as we know it...

During a one in a century event. Stop muddying the water. The bloke work himself to a standstill, unlike the current flop.

Everything in cOvId was extraordinary. Including the power given to CHOs which has no basis in s64.

All in favour say I. IIIII!

I think Scott Morrison done quite a good job mate When he was in power

Does it go deeper than this?

Like a rat deserting a sinking ship!

Chris Kenny just woke up.

'unfetted power' have you been anywhere near politics of getting things done in government? Wouldn't have mattered if every portfolio was under his control your riding on a public service tortoise, and did the roof fall in. It is a nothing blah blah story.

Murdoch's propaganda is the reason these things happen. Your media company acts like a rouge YouTube channel (you did get banned) and you are surprised it produces bad politicians. Murdoch's just don't care.

At least he was bloodywell working, not like the loafer albo

I think we can openly call this grifter a Fascist.

“It is always unwise to give governments unfettered power.” This...from the Murdoch propaganda machine who promoted this clown with the NINE Network. You created this monster, now you are shocked?

Morrison signed Australia up to aukus and USA's war with China. auspol

And you cheered him all the way to Election Day Chris. Good job.

Was he mentored by Russ Hinze?

Look at you lot now dumping on him now that he’s left the job. Did your best for years with bs and propaganda to keep him in the job

No idea if it's extraordinary, strange, weird or any of the other words used to describe this, It just hasn't been done before. The definition of extraordinary is very unusual or remarkable so was this remarkable. 😜

And the Governor General enables this?

In the 2 years of covid he just fed us to the state premier wolves

Does Scott Morrison live in the real world? Qanon & Hillsong connections are now making more sense.

Dog whistles from the chief arse kisser of SloMo. Akin to crocodile tears from a convicted pedophile.

Remember when Kenny called Dan Andrews a dictator.

You lot let him get away with it by looking the other way. Media scum. He was so bad because you lot didn’t do your role.

FFS gimme a break. The media made out that it was the end of the world at the time. Morrison just swallowed their line. Big fcking deal.

Covered up by Ministers and Media alike!

I bet Morrison's boss Rupert knew

Liberals’ push for ‘progressive environment policy’ either ‘insures or confuses’Former Labor MP Michael Danby says it’s clear the NSW and Victorian Liberals are trying to adopt a more “progressive environment policy” to insure themselves against a repeat of the 'teals phenomena' seen in the federal election. “But I’m not sure whether it insures or confuses, and that’s the key point,” Mr Danby told Sky News host Chris Smith. “And what do we do – all of us, both sides of politics – when electricity prices go up, a hundred per cent, 200 per cent, including for manufacturing, as we adopt more expensive renewables?” Hunger Stones Google it and you will question the whole C Change narrative Big mistake. Insure themselves agains a repeat of the teals phenomena? Who is kidding who? Why not read the room, read the recent commentary in The Age about IBAC and actually do something about it!

‘Loneliest man in the world’: Xi Jinping the ‘judge, jury and executioner’The Centre for Independent Studies’ Salvatore Babones says Chinese President Xi Jinping is the “loneliest man in the world” because he has “no natural friends”. “Xi Jinping has three jobs: he’s the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party, he’s the president of China and he’s the chairman of the Central Military Commission of China,” Mr Babones told Sky News host Chris Smith. He said this makes him “judge, jury and executioner of the entire Chinese system”. “You don’t have a lot of friends when you’re putting all your friends in jail, you are lording it over them, you’re dividing them amongst themselves, amongst each other, and your approach to governance is to divide and rule.” Bit like murdoch 😉😂😂😂 He is not needed or wanted on this planet And soon to be Australia's leader when he invades

‘Angry Birds’ has nothing on ‘angry’ Joe Biden: PanahiAngry Birds – those irate wingless creatures hellbent on destruction – have nothing on an 'angry Joe Biden', Sky News host Rita Panahi says. 'Whether he's campaigning to be president or in the White House there's something a little unhinged about the big guy,' Ms Panahi said. Question please. How do I delete sky news from foxtel? Not one decent commentator. Meanwhile Trump is having a meltdown over the FBI retrieving all those secret documents. The real problem for the US is that the FBI was to late. According to this Putin already has his copies. You can almost taste that Walkley award with this story. Just journalistic gold Rita. Never change.

‘Doesn’t have much credibility’: AWU boss slams Littleproud over regional visa callsAWU National Secretary Daniel Walton says he's looking forward to Nationals Leader David Littleproud 'riding in on his one trick pony' to Labor's Jobs and Skills Summit with more calls for 'easily exploitable' regional visas. Mr Littleproud accepted an invitation from Treasurer Jim Chalmers to attend the industrial relations summit in September and vowed to put forward a raft of proposals. These include wanting to have changes made to certain welfare payments and the introduction of a regional visa to attract more migrants to regional Australia. Mr Walton accused Mr Littleproud of putting forward 'short term, easily exploitable visas' to solve the 'long term systemic problems' in the agricultural industry. 'This is the same guy who proposed an agriculture visa which was going to decimate our friends in the Pacific without any consultation to them,' Mr Walton told Sky News Australia. 'This guy doesn't have much credibility and once again is banging the same drum of failed policies from the previous government.' Seems labor has a one trick pony too - summits. Gee what a collaborative approach by the AWU secretary. sheer arrogance
