The irony in Albo's statement 🙄 All he seems to be doing is focusing on the former government. At the end of the day, the GG approved (rightly or wrongly) of Scomo being sworn into those roles. Albo needs to focus on his job and work to make Aus a better place to work and live.
Sounds like ex-PM had himself sworn into other portfolios both to receive direct info from those departments for analysis by the PM's office & to be a secondary contact, in case something happened to ministers in those portfolios. Though, he's not immune to shocks & covid either.
Does that mean Albo's not focused on the job? Yes, considering overseas trips & fritting away of public funds on death & destruction, Albo appears to be a PM who is not focused on the job. Morrison, as a PM, had a right to co-hold other portfolios, secrecy was/is an issue.
ScoMo did the job a hell of a lot better than Albo is currently doing. No issues with me re ScoMo’s actions, given the circumstances…. But lots of issues with Albo’s having no plan after claiming he had one, then disappearing for 2 weeks
