Police say another 15 women have come forward, alleging they were sexually assaulted by a security guard who works in a designated Queensland Safe Night Precinct.

Police said the man met two of his alleged victims while on duty at the Maroochydore Safe Night Precinct, an area patrolled at night by state-funded security and safety officers.Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Mansfield said the initial charges related to crimes committed against four women and now more have come forward.Police have added nine new charges in relation to one of those who came forward over the weekend.

"We'll still have to conduct the investigation as we normally would to ascertain what further charges will follow," he said.
