Zandile Gumede corruption trial: Defence lawyer's latecoming raises judge's ire

The judge presiding over the corruption trial of former eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede and 21 others had a stern warning for one of the defence lawyers when he failed to arrive at court on time on Monday.

Griffiths Madonsela, who is representing former eThekwini city manager Sipho Nzuza, was absent from the proceedings until about 13:00.
