You Choose Your Starting XI Of The Week

The DStv Premiership is finally back after a two-month Afcon break which was even prolonged by the postponement of the midweek fixtures owing to Bafana Bafana’s third-place finish.

Polokwane City took full advantage of Moroka Swallows’ off-the-field well-documented problems when they collected maximum points at Dobsonville Stadium with a 1-0 win to cement their Top Eight position while Swallows dropped to 13Sekhukhune United added more salt to Richards Bay’s wound, thumping them 3-1 at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Royal AM and Kaizer Chiefs played to a goalless draw despite the two sides creating chances to wrap up the match. Arguably two of the most exciting games to watch this past weekend were Cape Town Spurs beating AmaZulu FC 3-1 at Athlone Stadium and TS Galaxy coming from behind to hit Golden Arrows 3-1 at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
