Ronwen Williams, for the second time in seven days, was the hero as Sundowns won a knockout competition to advance to the semi-finals. Mr Dependable Ronwen Willians did what he does best, come out triumphantly in a penalty shootout to cement his status as Africa's best in the 12-yards duel – where goalkeepers might as well go into with their hands tied behind their back, such is their disadvantage.
But Williams has managed to turn that disadvantage into a strength, using psychological warfare to put pressure on the penalty taker, who then succumb to the shot-stopper who made history at the Africa Cup of Nations by saving four of the first five penalties for the first time in a FIFA sanctioned match. South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
