Why 'Big Little Lies' probably won't return for a third season

first aired in 2017 the show received rave reviews from critics, so fans were thrilled to hear the Monterey Five would return for a second season. HBO president, Casey Bloys told"I love this group of people – I would do anything with them," he commented,"but the reality is, they are some of the busiest actresses working in Hollywood."

"Look, if they all came to me and said, ‘We worked out all of our schedules!’ – then sure,” he joked,"but I just don’t think it’s realistic." Bloys said the cast returned for season 2 to end the series “in a way that feels satisfying” for everyone, while according to , the show’s writer, David E.
