Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano who played father and daughter in the original series will reprise their roles. The show centred on Tony Micelli , a former major league baseball player who moves with his daughter Samantha to Connecticut where he becomes a housekeeper for a divorced ad executive, Angela ., the show will take place 30 year after the original series. Samantha, now a single mother, lives in the house the original series was set in.
"The new comedy will explore generational differences, as well as opposing world views and parenting styles within the dynamic of a modern family in 2020," reports the publication.
