The fate of Zimbabweans living in SA hangs in the balance. News24's QaanitahHunter hosts a discussion at 12:00 on Thursday, 30 June on the cost of ending the Zimbabwe Exemption Permit.

The future remains uncertain for tens of thousands of Zimbabweans whose exemption permits expire at the end of the year.

The government has discontinued the Zimbabwe Exemption Permit , which was introduced several years ago to regularise the status of Zimbabwean nationals who had migrated to South Africa after fleeing the neighbouring country's political and economic collapse in 2008. ZEP holders have until the end of the year to migrate to other permits, but some fear that the grace period is not enough time to apply for new documentation allowing them to remain in the country. QaanitahHunter I think we must mobilize those paying for news 24 subscriptions to cancel. We can't be paying to read about Zimbabweans while we have our own issues here. Watch carte Blanche 28th June and write about their plight and not this nonsense.

QaanitahHunter This woman is something else. We're Zimbabweans promised permanent residency in South Africa? They were made aware it was not permanent. Why blame South African citizens and not the Zimbabwean Govt.

QaanitahHunter Send them home, they will be better off!

QaanitahHunter I was scammed through Bitcoin couple of months ago, I started hating Bitcoin until I was introduced to Allison_Grillo, and I gave Bitcoin trading another try, I successfully withdrew $35,000 after two weeks of trading, am so grateful Allison_Grillo thank you.

QaanitahHunter What about the other countries, Lesotho Nigeria Somalia and more.

QaanitahHunter Such a foolish headline .. they are going. We need to fix our country

QaanitahHunter They are going. There is nothing you can do about it.

QaanitahHunter Sending them back will help the electricity grid beca there will be fewer illegal connections pressurising the grid. Send them home. They must be their country’s problem. Our SA people must come first.

QaanitahHunter Let it end South Africa is overcrowded by foreigners, real South African are no longer enjoying their freedom freely
