Water cuts imminent without electricity: Rand Water

The water supply company consumers should start saving water to avoid complete outages.The company also advised residents to regularly check their load-shedding schedule for their areas on the City Power and Eskom websites as load-shedding affects the water supply.Joburg Water working to prevent water cuts during load-shedding

Joburg Water urged residents to prepare for instances where there might not be water by ensuring that they have enough water stored for the duration of the load-shedding. “Joburg Water, unfortunately, does not have enough water tankers to assist as a form of alternative supply because of the size of areas that get affected by load-shedding,” the water utility said in a statement.
